Brittani and Carlos did their engagement session at one of my favorite spots in Colorado Springs on Gold Camp Road. The setting feels like you drove hours west but really is not far from the city. It is not uncommon to see mountain bikers and even jeep tours drive by on the dusty road. Nearby North Cheyenne Canon is a great area to hike and an even better place for engagement pictures. These two especially wanted a Colorado feel to their photos as they are getting ready to move right after their wedding (hello, military life!). You can see the energy, joy, and love they brought to the session and shared between each other. It was so fun to learn more about their story as a couple, growing up completely differently but now so ready to blend their lives and cultures. What a beautiful description of marriage!

Carlos planned a scavenger hunt proposal at Red Rocks Open Space (another great local spot) if that tells you anything about the type of fun they have together!
