A behind-the-scenes glimpse into the stories behind the pictures with Bespoken Photography ā with some tips and ideas along the way!
As soon as Alex and Farah shared their vision of a winter wedding with cozy, mountain vibes, I knew I would be thrilled to be their wedding photographer. Albert’s Lodge at Spruce Mountain Ranch was the perfect wedding venue to help their vision come to life. Their wedding also happened to be on New Year’s Day. What could be more romantic than ringing in the New Year newly married surrounded by all your friends and family!?

Adding to the romance, Alex and Farah decided not to do a First Look. They did a First Touch instead, which means he did not see his bride until she walked down the aisle! Whether or not to do a First Look is always a good discussion to have with your wedding photographer as to how it impacts your timeline. While a First Look allows you to get a few more photos done before your ceremony, if you want to have that special moment coming down the aisle, it can be an easy adjustment to your timeline. As your wedding photographer, I always want to prioritize the moments and pictures that are important to you!

From the fresh pine bouquet to twinkling lights, all the details of their cozy day came together seamlessly and ended with the best dance party on the dance floor! It’s going to be a good year, I think!!
