A behind-the-scenes glimpse into the stories behind the pictures with Bespoken Photography — with some tips and ideas along the way!
Colorado is known for it’s sunshine but afternoon thunderstorms are especially a reality in the summer. What’s a bride to do!? Whitney & Joe were planning an outdoor ceremony at Hearth House Venue in Monument, CO. The weather had other plans as it was misting or raining all afternoon. I know the saying is that rain is good luck on your wedding day, but I am more of a believer that you have to choose to make it that way for it to be good luck! If you are worried that rain could threaten your day, here are a few things to keep in mind…
I love the misty, moody feel to Whitney & Joe’s photos that could have only turned out this way thanks to the less-than-ideal weather. We also were able to venture out in the mist to what would have been the ceremony site for bridesmaids and wedding party photos.
P.s. Your photographer always carries her rain gear with her just in case we need to brave the rain along with an umbrella or two!
